winter break surprise
Remembering my winter break experiences the most memorable one of them all was givng my fiance Jaime a surprise birthday party. He had been out working all day long and he had no idea what was about to happen.
On December 29th, 2008 it was my fiance's 19th birthday. He had to help his dad restore a car that he had been working on almost all year. While he was busy doing that, I was busy worrying about how things were going to go. I really wanted for things to go well. After Jaime's sister Vero and I were done doing some last minute shopping for him, we went back to her house where the party was going to be. I told every one that I had invited to be there by six pm. It was a little after six when people started to arrive. While every one gatherd to conversate I started getting the food ready. I made one of Jaime's favorite foods that happends to be taco salad (which happends to be extremly delicious). After everyone had finished showing up, Jaime called me to say that he was done working and I asked him to come over. Of course he said yes and that he'd be there in a few minutes. When he walked in we all said SURPRISE and sang happy birthday to him. He was so happy and his face was unforgettable. I was happy that I could make him smile like that. After he was done greeting everyone we all started eating. Everyone enjoyed the food. Then after we were done enjoying our meal we had Jaime open all of his gifts. He recieved something from every one that was there. First his Aunt Roxanne, Uncle Joe, cuzin Kathy and her fiance Demitrius gave him 20 dollars to do what he wanted with it. Then he recieved a raiders wallet from his cuzin Kristi and her husband Adam. He also got a fishing pool,takle box, and bate from my Mom Belinda, My step dad Dave and my little sister Hope. From his mom Mari and his step dad Paulo he recived an outfit. He recieved an ihome,a raiders hat and an outfit from his Sister Vero, her husband Doug and their five kids(Domonique,Alexis,Crystal,Bryana and D.J). Last but not least he recieved two shits, a pair of pants and a pair of nike high tops from me. The thing that I liked the most about his face when he opend my presents that I had bought him was that he was happy to get one of his shirts very much because it happend to be a tapout shirt that he had been wanting. After he had opened all of his gifts we ended the night with cakes and siging happy birthday. But they was no ordinary cakes (let me explain). They were cakes that Jaime had been wanting to try and I had to admit that I was a bit curious myself because of the name. The name of the cakes were better than sex cakes (look them up on line). They were amazing cakes. Jaime was so happy that I made them for him and honstly so was everyone else.
This was my most memerable moment of my winter break because I had the chance to do something for someone that I love and make him happy. Also because I got the chance to make a special day even more special. I also got to see a beautiful smile show when he walked in the door to be surprised, when he opened his presents and when he ate the cakes. Over all, it was a wonderful day
